WHAT IS PRP?

PRP treatment is platelet rich plasma treatment, it is the process in which a small amount of blood is drawn from the arm and then spun in a centrifuge system. This separates the different components of blood into red blood cells, white blood cells and plasma. The plasma component of the blood is then isolated from the rest and used.

Plasma contains a variety of proteins, hormones, clotting factors, minerals and growth factors. It is affectively the growth factor of blood.

The nutrient rich plasma is then re-injected into the face using a specialised micro-needling technique.
