Welcome to The Medispa where we specialize in enhancing your natural beauty, including the delicate area around the eyes known as tear troughs. Tear troughs are the depressions that form between the lower eyelid and the upper cheek, often contributing to dark circles, tired or sunken appearance. Our expert practitioners utilize dermal fillers to effectively address tear trough concerns.
By skillfully injecting hyaluronic acid-based fillers into the hollowed areas, we can restore lost volume and smooth out fine lines, instantly rejuvenating your under-eye area. This non-invasive treatment yields natural-looking results, reducing the appearance of dark circles and puffiness, and leaving you with a refreshed, well-rested, and youthful appearance. Rediscover the beauty of your eyes with our tear trough treatment using dermal fillers at our clinic today!

    WHAT ARE TEAR TROUGHS?

The tear troughs are the area between the lower eyelid and the upper cheek. They are often confused with dark circles and eyebags which are treated differently.
Tear trough is the physical hollowing of the area which you can be genetically predisposed to or they form as part of the natural ageing process where volume is lost. The hollow area often casts a shadow giving the appearance of dark circles.
The skin around the eye is 40% thinner than the rest of your face. It is an extremely delicate and sensitive area so only the lightest of fillers can be used to correct any loss of volume here. The insertion of dermal fillers under the skin and into the area lifts the area by adding volume. It produces not only a smoother area, but also brightens the area as the shadows vanish.
